Shoreline men compete to become "Mr. Awesome Seattle"

Bernard Butler of Shoreline and Patrick Andraste of Lake Forest Park will compete in a pageant-like setting this weekend for the title of "Mr. Awesome Seattle."

During the four rounds, 15 men will be judged on their best pose, "talent" demonstration, ability to dress for a date, and interview skills.

Andraste describes himself as "a guy in the suburbs with a lot of cameras that likes to take pictures and does a little bit of modeling and performing." Butler says he love to "write poetry, play basketball, and help others achieve goals and dreams."

"Mr. Awesome" will take home a trophy and his choice of prizes, and the runner-up will be dubbed "Mr. Cool." You can help choose the people's choice "Mr. Charitable" award by voting for your favorite candidate online.
